The Professional Pharmacy directs, advises and exercises technical responsibility with pharmaceutical companies, laboratories, inspection bodies or quality of pharmaceuticals and related products, pharmaceutical establishments that deal with plants, animal or mineral deposits and related products to the area. Also serves on the handling and dispensing of magistral formulas or pharmacopoeias in audits, development of reports and technical expertise of a pharmaceutical.
It can perform analysis in the areas of clinical or public health, the production of immunotherapy, serums, vaccines and allergens, the production of cosmetics, dietary products and food in character analysis of chemical-toxicological, chemical-bromatological, microbiological and chemical-pharmaceutical, research and expertise in air pollution, treatment of sewage and industrial treatment and control of water, among others.
Eventually there may be classes on Saturday in one of the periods (morning or afternoon).

The creation of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences University of San Francisco was authorized in November 1985 and recognized in August 1989. The University of St. Francis offers excellent undergraduate preparation for Pharmacy School . While USF does not offer a specific Pre-Pharmacy major we do offer a biology degree with a pre-pharmacy track for students interested in pursuing careers in pharmacy. Since no specific major is required for admission to pre-pharmacy colleges in the United States , USF students do complete a core of courses which prepare them for entrance into pharmacy school and still enjoy the freedom and flexibility to design a curriculum in advanced science course which are appropriate to their interests.

Pharmacy schools are looking for students who have completed a core of specific course work in biology, chemistry, math and physics and who have performed at a high academic level. Pharmacy schools may also require volunteer work or other specific types of clinical experience outside the classroom. In addition, coursework required in the humanities and social sciences may vary by school

Pharmacy. The pre‑pharmacy program is designed to meet the entrance requirements for the South Carolina College of Pharmacy. The pre‑pharmacy program is an intensive two‑year course of study that includes two years of chemistry, four semesters of biology, one year each of physics and English, and one semester each of calculus, statistics, and economics.

Students must apply to Pharmacy programs while enrolled in the pre‑pharmacy curriculum. Admission to pharmacy schools is competitive. Students meeting only the minimum pre-requisites have lower rate of acceptance than students completing a B.S. Pharmacy schools are generally not presently taking students having Grade Point Averages (GPA’s) below about 3.1‑3.2. Be prepared to take the Pharmacy College Admission Test (PCAT) during your second year. The PCAT consists of five areas: Verbal Ability, Quantitative Ability, Biology, Chemistry, and Reading Comprehension.
All pre‑pharmacy courses (except electives) must be passed with a minimum grade of C. Plan to take 17 hours per semester, and do not plan on working at a job requiring more than about 12‑15 hours a week. It is important to start the science requirements on schedule. If a student is not on track with science requirements in the middle of the sophomore year, admission is unlikely into the pharmacy program for the next fall. If anything is be delayed until summer after the sophomore year, it should be electives
